Sugar beet is a culture that consumes a large amount of not only basic nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) but also additional ones: Boron, Zinc, Manganese, Magnesium, Iron etc. Timely application of foliar feeding will significantly reduce the negative impact of stress from bad environmental conditions, adapt to the changes in weather conditions, activate root nutrition, delay tissue aging and create conditions for obtaining a rich harvest.

Agrohelat fertilizers help to increase the yield and improve the sugar content in crops, and significantly reduce the probability of core diseases.

program of feeding sugar

Changes in the feeding program are developed by the representatives of our company individually, based on the real needs of the plants on the farm. The following is taken into account: processing methods and the level of fertilization of the soil, the content of nutrients in the arable layer and the amount of the planned yield.

Treatment of sugar beet seeds with Agrohelat Multicomplex fertilizer (2 l/ t of seeds) promotes faster germination, increases growth energy and improves field germination of plants.

The development of sugar beet at stages of 4-6 and 8-12 leaves is crucial for plants in relation to Boron absorption. Boron contributes to the accumulation of sugars and prevents the diseases of rotten core. Boron contributes to the balance of calcium in plants, thereby increasing the resistance of roots to root rot. During the period of formation and growth of leaves, intensive nitrogen nutrition is of great importance. The better the sugar beet is provided with nitrogen, the greater is the yield and sugar content in the roots.

The first feeding is carried out in the phase of 4-6 leaves with Agrohelat Start (0.5l/ha), Agrohelat Amino Max (0.5 l /ha) and Agrohelat Boron (1l/ha). In young plants, the root system is still weakly developed and in cold weather it becomes difficult to absorb nutrients from the soil. So foliar feeding is a growth stimulator compatible with amino acids, macro and micro elements, Boron compensates for the lack of necessary nutrients during this period.

The yield potential of sugar beet is established in the first few weeks, when the formation of the cambial rings occurs. The number and density of these rings determines the amount of the future harvest. When the yield potential is established for each ring, it cannot be affected by the most favorable conditions. Two feedings in the phase of 8-12 leaves ( closure of leaves in rows) with Agrohelat Multicomplex (1 l/ha), Agrohelat Boron (1l/ha) and Agrohelat Max (1l/ha) will provide plants with all necessary nutrients, activate root nutrition and help increase yield and sugar content.

The middle leaves have the greatest influence on the accumulation of sugars, so it is necessary to strive for their greatest development.

Foliar feeding with complex chelated fertilizers which contain Phosphorus, Potassium, Magnesium, Manganese and Boron in a balanced amount, with a positive effect on sugar content, will help preserve the leaf apparatus during dry weather conditions. The third feeding is carried out in the phase of leaf closure in interrows with Agrohelat NPK Plus (1-2l/ha) and Agrohelat Boron (1l/ha) fertilizers.
